Experience the true essence of slow travel aboard our 1984 Ford Freccia Kamp! A classic vintage camper, regularly inspected and designed for those seeking an authentic journey with a retro vibe. The camper is constantly being modernized; it requires that little bit of adaptability typical of historic vehicles, but it will reward you with an essential and unique sense of freedom. It is strongly discouraged for trips with steep slopes or unsuitable roads.

Size, Drive & Capacity

At just 5.30 meters long, it is super compact, making it incredibly easy to drive and park, even for beginners. Although it is officially registered for 5 seats, the interior layout makes it optimal for 2 people.

The LPG engine ensures significant fuel savings and makes the vehicle very maneuverable. It invites you to travel without haste: it performs at its best on gentle, scenic routes—perfect for enjoying a relaxed trip while avoiding steep climbs or rough roads.

Life on Board and Equipment

• Kitchen: The cooking area features a gas cylinder connected to a convenient 3-burner camping stove. Upon request, we can also provide an additional mini gas stove for outdoor cooking or extra convenience.

• Refrigerator: The original three-way (trivalent) fridge helps keep things cool, maintaining a temperature about 10°C below the outside temperature. Please note that the gas mode (which is normally the most efficient) is not fully functional: it tends to turn off or burn poorly if the camper is not parked on a perfectly level surface. In practice, it mostly acts as a thermal cooler (keeping items about 10°C cooler than the ambient air). A future restoration is planned.

• Water & Refueling: To optimize driving weight and keep your journey lighter, we hand over the camper with an empty water tank. You will find a practical canister on board, allowing you to fill up easily and for free at any public water fountain.

• Bathroom: The shower compartment houses a fully functional portable chemical toilet (disintegrating powder included). The water system has an active pump at ambient temperature: there is no boiler, but you are guaranteed refreshing, cool showers—perfect for hot summer days.
