Good morning ! Whether you're looking for a family adventure or a romantic getaway, our 2024 Volkswagen California Beach van is ready to welcome you for an unforgettable experience close to nature.

A worthy successor to the legendary Volkswagen Combi, our van accompanies you on your journey through Vercors, Drôme, Ardèche, Provence or wherever you decide to go.

With its dimensions, notably its 1.99 meter allowing it to pass under most height bars, and its 150 horsepower engine, it is very maneuverable and goes everywhere... or almost... Indeed, it is not yet 4x4!

With its DSG7 automatic gearbox and its large 80 liter fuel tank, it is very durable. In addition, it is equipped with remote programmable stationary heating, drawing on diesel, a real plus for cool mountain nights.

To ensure everyone's comfort and the ideal nighttime configuration, we offer it for rental for a maximum of 4 people:

• 2 at the top, under the lifting roof, with a bed on a 120x200cm box spring (a safety net is provided, if necessary),

• 2 below, on the bench seat with a foldable comfort mattress, 150x200cm. Remember to bring your duvets/duvet and pillows, we provide the mattress pads.

This vehicle is equipped with an integrated mini-kitchen and everything you need to enjoy VANLIFE: camping table and 4 chairs, 35 liter compression cooler, dishes, 15 liter jerry can, outdoor stove and a small grocery store. extra (coffee, tea, salt and pepper, aluminum foil, toilet paper, sponge, organic dishwashing liquid, first aid kit, tea towels, etc.). We can also provide you with a solar shower, a child booster seat and a Molki on request.

Its other significant features: side awning for shade or shelter from the rain, front and rear air conditioning, Apple and Android Car Play to put applications such as Waze or Spotify on the main screen , Bluetooth, cruise control and speed limiter, reversing camera, front and rear parking assistance, USB and 12V sockets everywhere. Clearly, all the materials are of quality, Volkswagen's German touch is there.

We are a family of 5 globetrotters (5 years of traveling around the world by backpack and motorhome). We are now based in Crest, about twenty minutes by car from Valencia. Your vehicle is parked in our enclosed garden during your rental.

We offer a few additional options during your rental:

• Boxio dry toilets for €5 per day,

• A full load of groceries for €20 (in addition to the price of the groceries, of course),

• If you come by train, we can even pick you up at Valence TGV station (35 kilometers from the house), for €40.

Further information :

• The van is non-smoking,

• Animals are not allowed,

• Following a rental during which our van was vandalized in 2024 in Italy and faced with a real hassle getting it repaired there, we made the decision to no longer accept rentals abroad.

• We do not wish to rent our van for more than 2 weeks in a row to the same tenant,

• The vehicle must be returned as clean as when it left. A car wash is 2 minutes from our house by car. During your rental, we provide you with a brand new car vacuum cleaner and a brush.

One last piece of information: the trunk is spacious enough for your backpacks, but we advise you to travel light, you have to be minimalist on this type of vacation.
