The best thing about this VAN is that it's called George. It's a 2007 T5 California 2.5 TDI 174hp Diesel 6-speed manual gearbox (combined fuel consumption of around 8L/100km), fully equipped (except toilet and shower, but there's a shower head on the kitchen sink tap that can be used outdoors).

• Pivoting front seats + 2-seater rear bench on rail + floor protectors

• 4 berths (2 on the bottom and 2 on the top, roof can be raised electrically, takes less than a minute) + mattresses on the top and 2 mattress toppers on the bottom (sleeps better than at home)

• 2 gas hobs + sink + fridge + plenty of storage space + crockery for 4 (cooker not supplied)

• 2 tables (one outside) + 2 chairs + 4 stools

• Blinds to block out light at night and tinted windows + multiple light points

• Air conditioning, heating, cruise control and reversing radar

• Camping awning can be mounted on the T5 rail

• Trailer hitch for 3 bikes (in place, prevents trunk from opening completely)

Front-mounted CD player and GPS (the radio works very well, and you can plug your phone into the jack, and there's also a 6CD charger under the front-right passenger seat).
